Instability Resolved - Reason for Outage - Service disruptions

Good Morning

We are pleased to report that all stability issues encountered beginning at roughly 4:30AM with random disconnects occurring throughout until roughly 6:30PM August 7th affecting some of Aegisys Services has been RESOLVED.

Aegisys teams worked diligently in tandem with our Service partners and identified the root cause to be a firmware flaw causing random reboots of its technology affecting our availabilities.

Technology Partner notifications and recommendations to discovered CVE security vulnerabilities are routine in the industry and these latest security firmware fix releases are scheduled and applied vigilantly based on their release requirements to Aegisys and client networks.

In this case, updated security firmware was applied July 31th to Aegisys networks with issues triggered and corrected within the timeline above. With this being a security release, rolling back to a previous stable version with a high-risk CVE security vulnerability made for a difficult decision late in day to wait for our trusted vendor to provide an expedited hot fix now applied.

We believe this was the responsible choice in maintaining our Security One approach.

We wish to assure everyone this was not a Cybersecurity incident. Rather, it was an unfortunate bug in an important vendor firmware security release.

We apologize to all those impacted. Our teams wish to thank our clients for their cooperation, patience and incredible support while this was being diagnosed through being corrected. It is very much appreciated.
